The Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation, has generously awarded the SAYS Program a grant of up to $50,000 towards the construction of its new group home campus. The grant provides $25,000 directly to SAYS, and includes a “challenge grant” of up to an additional $25,000 in matching funds in support of SAYS ongoing fund-raising efforts. The Jaguars Foundation will match all donations received by October 15, 2010, up to $25,000. There are a variety of ways to make contributions to St. Augustine Youth Services, including sponsoring a room at the new campus, purchasing a laser-engraved brick to be placed on the entrance walkway, or sponsoring one of SAYS’ numerous fund-raising events throughout the year, such as the annual Ride Against Child Abuse in April and the Coggin Automotive Golf Classic in October. Donations of any size are eligible for matching funds from the Jaguars Foundation grant, and “no contribution is too small to be needed and appreciated, “ according to SAYS Executive Director Schuyler Siefker.
